Return & Refund Policy

At Hank Makes Bags, every tote bag is carefully handmade with love and attention to detail. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase.

Returns

We offer a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be unused and in its original condition.

  • Include all original packaging.

  • Include proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact us at hankmakesbags@gmail.com.

If your return is approved, we'll provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Returns sent without contacting us first cannot be accepted.

Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.


Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If your tote bag arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery at hankmakesbags@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the issue.

We'll make it right by offering a replacement or a full refund at no additional cost.


Handmade Products

Every Hank Makes Bags tote is individually handmade and hand-painted. Because of this, small variations in brushstrokes, texture, or placement are part of the uniqueness of each bag and are not considered defects.


Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Personalized or custom-made orders.

  • Gift cards.

  • Final sale or clearance items.


Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges.

If you'd like a different design, simply return your original item (if eligible) and place a new order.


European Union Customers

If your order is shipped to a country within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original condition, and includes its original packaging and proof of purchase.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional time to process the refund.
